Scouting is open to all young people aged 6 to 25 from every faith and background. There are five different age renged sections for young people:

Beaver Scouts

Beaver Scouts - aged 6 to 8Find out more >Beaver scouts is all about having fun, making friends and learning new skills. For ages 6 - 8.


Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts - aged 8 to 10.5Find out more >Cub Scouts get the chance to try lots of fun activities such as games, badge work, sports and practical skills. For ages 8 - 10½.


Scouts - aged 10.5 to 14Find out more >Scouts take part in a programme that helps them to find out about the world in which they live, encourages them to know their own abilities and the importance of keeping fit and helps develop their creative talents. For ages 10½ – 14.

Explorer Scouts

Explorer Scouts - aged 14 to 18Find out more >Explorer Scouts are focussed on having fun while developing different activity and leadership skills around personal interests or goals. For ages 14 - 18.

Scout Network

Scout Network - aged 18 to 25Find out more >The Scout Network is for younger adults who wish to continue their personal development through scouting while keeping the adventure going. For ages 18 - 25.

Adult Volunteers

There are loads of opportunities for adults to volunteer for scouting in various different ways. Whether it be helping to lead a section, being a skills instructor or one of the varied support and administration roles.
